Alondra Diaz

Day Laborer Workers Rights Advocate

Alondra is from Oakland, CA and this summer she will be graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.A in Public Health and a minor in Global Health. The daughter of immigrant parents, Alondra will be the first in her family to earn a college degree. During her time in college, she developed her advocacy skills as a Health Advocate, and gained insight on the issues affecting newly arrived immigrants while working with newcomer students. Alondra first joined Street Level Health Project as a student intern. In her current role, she looks forward to continuing the work that SLHP has been doing to address the various injustices faced by the immigrant community.
