Jannelle Molina

Board Member

Raised in the Bay Area as a first generation Mexican-American, Jannelle Molina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with minors in Medical Anthropology and Latin American Studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Jannelle works on Phase IV clinical studies within Clinical Operations at Gilead Sciences. Specifically, she supports HIV Prevention studies worldwide.

As a graduate student living in Oakland in 2015, Jannelle began volunteering for SLHP and quickly fell in love with SLHP’s mission, culture, and community. Jannelle’s desire to join SLHP’s board stemmed from her interest in learning how she can support her community by applying what she has learned throughout her career in clinical research. Outside the office, Jannelle is committed to being the ‘World’s Best Tia’ to her four nieces and can be found looking over her Abuelita’s garden.
