A Place to Breathe Television Broadcast Premiere

We are excited to announce the public television broadcast premiere of A Place To Breathe, the new documentary on immigrant and refugee experiences in the healthcare system and culturally responsive healing from trauma, featuring Street Level Health Project, and made by our longtime nutritionist/herbalist Michelle Grace Steinberg. NorCal Public Media (KRCB/KPJK) will be showing the film at the upcoming dates/times below. All broadcasts will be available throughout the entire SF Bay Area on the television channels listed and the KRCB date will be simultaneously available to stream for free online through their website. For the next three years, the film will also be on national public television stations across the country- new dates will be posted at aplacetobreathefilm.com as they become known.
For now:
- Saturday Oct 30th at 7:30pm on KPJK Channel 60
- Sunday Oct 31st at 6:00pm on KPJK Channel 60
- Sunday Nov 7th at 1:00pm on KRCB Channel 22 with simultaneous online streaming at https://norcalpublicmedia.org/television/krcb-tv-live-stream.
- This last date is followed by 2:30pm broadcast of the filmmakers’ previous film Beyond Recognition on the first women-led Indigenous land trust.
